The Business Challenge
The Quantic Group had very specific needs, requiring the relocation of their office setup from a shared managed office to an office with an independent infrastructure. The new office location was not confirmed until the very last minute, giving only one week to prepare and install the necessary infrastructure, including all physical elements such as cabling and internet connection; they wanted to move in with the minimum of disruption, leaving one office at the end of one day and arriving at the new office ready to start work the next. The company also frequently used video conferencing and so had a high bandwidth requirement, but at the same time required a low cost solution.
The Centric Approach
We carried out extensive and detailed discussions with the client to accurately assess and capture their exact requirements. We reviewed a variety of different solutions, proposing a solution that gave the client the level of service required but also met with their budgetary constraints. The final solution that we proposed involved an entirely managed service, from phone and internet connection to the physical move of equipment.
The Centric Solution
To cater for the high bandwidth requirement, we installed a cost effective internet solution, load balancing across two connections to deliver the necessary bandwidth within budget. We prepared the office so that it was fully functioning for the day of the move and provided advice on all aspects of the move including office layout, adding value to the service provided We also installed a new phone system, adding additional functionality and flexibility for the group.
Results
The Quantic Group benefited from a slick and efficient move with no downtime experienced on ‘move day’ and an enhanced technical infrastructure at the new office location. The newly installed telephone system delivered significantly increased functionality, giving the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing requirements as and when required, at no additional cost to the company.
